Glenda the Union Pacific 2-8-0

Glenda is another member of the Pennsville Scenic when the railroad was new back in the 1960s. She is a C-57 class Consolidation built by Baldwin in the 1900s for hauling freight trains on the Union Pacific. This southern accent girl worked on the UP until being retired in the late 1950s. Eventually, while being stored in a scrapyard, the newly formed Pennsville Scenic purchased the 2-8-0 and began to operate her on tourist trains in and out of Cocker Town, PA. When she began operating on the PSRR, her original whistle went missing thanks to some robbers one night and had gotten herself a brand new whistle off of a Nickel Plate Road 2-8-2 Mikado (the same whistle NKP 587 wore in "Choo Choo trains up close and personal"). In the mid 2000s, Glenda was transferred to Dimsburg for freight service and helper duties on the steep grade through the snowy mountains outside of the city.
